What causes belly fat
Well, what cause belly fat is a question not new to most of us. So often we hear people cribbing over the fact that they pick up weight too fast or that they are just unable to lose their belly fat no matter what they do. Well let us first of all find out what exactly causes this belly fat. Belly fat is a result of fat deposits in the body. Most of the people today have little time or inclination or both towards maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Most of the people are short on time because of the cut throat competition at work which makes them work harder and longer in a bid to keep their job and get quick promotions. Not only this, such people hardly find any time to eat, let alone to have a relook at their lifestyle. And under these circumstances these people start eating unhealthy foods which arouse the taste-buds but damage the body from inside. These foods are the junk foods that we are so used to eating nowadays. Often due to lack of time, people find it a good alternative to rush to a burger joint and grab a quick bite into a burger, fries and cola. And then rush back to work. All this takes just a few minutes to eat and gulp down but takes weeks for the body to wash away. All these foods are rich in calories and low on vitamins and minerals. This means that all that you are making yourself is a fat gulping sack. When you eat such foods, they keep getting stored in the body as fats and eventually appear on the stomach as a belly. Apart from this fat belly is also caused by lack of exercise. Most of us are so used to driving around in a car that even to travel a few blocks we take it out. We deny our body even a bare minimum chance of exercise by taking elevators and escalators even to reach just the second floor. Climbing the stairs and walking a mile or two every day doesn’t hurt much and at least burn a couple of hundred calories every day and keeps your heart happy. Also a few changes here and there in your lifestyle like eating more fresh fruits and vegetables instead of burgers, fries and pizzas would go a long way in ensuring that the belly remains well in control and that you keep burning fat as quickly as possible.
